The foundation
Where I build. The reason is operational: when a site launches, the owner's team updates menus, events, and hours themselves, without a developer and without breaking anything. For experience brands, who runs the site matters more than the spec sheet.
Squarekicker
The custom layer
The no-code design and animation extension that takes a Squarespace site past its defaults. It built the curtain preloader on this site, which SquareKicker featured in their designer showcase. My favorite part is the handoff economics: the designer pays while designing, and the client keeps every customization with no ongoing subscription.
EVENTUALLY
Ticketing without the per-ticket cut
For supper clubs, tastings, classes, and events at your space. Ticket pages you design to match your brand, checkout through your own Squarespace Commerce, and flat monthly pricing with no per-ticket cut on top. Free up to about 25 guests, so try it on one small event first. If your guests come from your own list and community rather than marketplace discovery, this replaces the fee math you have been tolerating.
