Brand Lift Series 2026 Spring Session: A Recap

What Happens When You Give Small Businesses a Real Path Forward

This few weeks ago I wrapped the Brand Lift Series 2026 spring session, a three-part workshop series over two weeks in partnership with the City of West Palm Beach's Office of Small Business Programs.

Three workshops. Two weeks. One goal: hand small business owners a complete, $0 marketing engine they could actually run themselves starting the next day.

Here's what we built, what the room said, and why I think this kind of work matters more than people realize.

The $0 Marketing Engine

The spring series was designed as a trilogy. Each workshop built on the last so that by the end, attendees had a full system, not just a collection of tips.

Brittani Millington - speaker and leading a workshop for business owner

Workshop 1: AI Ideates. We started with tools like ChatGPT and Claude to help business owners generate ideas, headlines, and body copy faster than they thought possible. For people who feel stuck every time they sit down to write something for their business, this session was about removing that friction and starting getting to something solid they build from.

Workshop 2: Canva Creates. We took those ideas and turned them into print-ready visuals that could scale across every marketing channel. No designer required. No budget required. Just the right process and the right tools.

Workshop 3: Email Distributes. The final session was about getting paid for their offer and building a funnel for it. We built a full Tease, Show, Ask email campaign from scratch. Subject lines, preview text, body copy, a clear call to action. Not theory. Actual practice, together in the room.

That trilogy belongs to everyone who showed up. Run it for a launch. A holiday. A new product. An event. It's a repeatable engine, and it costs nothing but time and intention.

What the Room Said

The feedback at the end of the final session is something I'll carry for a while.

Brittani was able to give valuable consulting advice to small and minority businesses working with the City of West Palm Beach. Marketing expert and an ultimately polished professional. Brittani is an asset.
— Sandra Hammerstein, SBE Programs Compliance Officer for the City of West Palm Beach

People said they finally felt like this was doable for their business. That they walked away with confidence, not just information. At the end of the night, someone said they’ll tell a person who hadn't come: "She's not going to do this again. You should have been there."

I didn't plan for that type of reaction to what I shared. But I'll remember it.

That kind of feedback doesn't get old.

Why Confidence Is the Real Deliverable

Brittani Millington - founder and strategist at Studio 113speaker and leading a workshop for business owner

I always say that confidence is what I'm actually trying to deliver, whether I'm running a city workshop or working with a hospitality brand on a full brand strategy engagement.

Most small business owners are wearing every hat. CEO, marketer, customer service rep, social media manager, and bookkeeper, sometimes all before noon. Asking them to add a full marketing strategy on top of that without giving them a real, accessible path is just more noise.

The Brand Lift Series is designed to cut through that. No fluff. Tools, structure, and real examples they can use right away.

And yes, I made sure people ate well. Not chips and a cookie. A real meal. Because if someone is giving you their evening after a full day of running a business, the least you can do is make sure they feel taken care of. That's the same energy I bring to every room I'm in. The experience matters. Every detail of it.

What Comes Next for Attendees

Everyone who participated in the spring series walked away with more than notes. They left with a complete handout packet from all three workshops, access to resources to keep building, and the next step already mapped out for them.

Because showing up should mean something. And the work shouldn't stop when the room clears out.

What This Has to Do With Brand Strategy

Everything.

The work I do at Studio 113 with hospitality and experience-led brands is built on the same belief that drives these workshops. Clarity and consistency create confidence. And confidence is what makes people choose you, return to you, and tell others about you.

A small business showing up consistently in their email list is doing the same thing a boutique hotel does when their digital presence matches the feeling of walking through the front door. They're building trust before anyone ever arrives.

That's what brand strategy actually is. It's not a logo. It's the feeling someone has about you before they ever experience you in person.

If any of this resonated with you, whether you're a small business figuring out your next move or an experience-led brand ready to think at a bigger level, I'd love to connect.

Send me a message or grab time on my calendar. Let's talk about what's standing between you and the brand you're trying to build.
